Steve Goddard Mon-Fri 6am-10am | Sat 10am - 2pm
Let’s get personal with Steve Goddard How long have you been in the Valley? 36 years What brought you to the Valley? I moved here from San Diego in 1980 to sign on a brand new radio station, you may have heard of it – KZZP! What do you love about living here? Bar-B-Q’ing on Christmas day, long swimming season, and spending a lot of time with my granddaughter! What do you love about working at the Oasis? #1…it's a chance to work with some great friends of mine again, play some of the great music I’ve grown up with, and have some genuine fun. Is that not perfect?!! Ok, you must have a life outside of radio! Outside of my love of radio, my favorite things include music, movies, and my granddaughter - I'm a pretty simple guy.... Since you’re such a music fan, who’s your all-time favorite artist? Since I play music for a living, my all time favorite artist is impossible to nail down. Love pre-Army Elvis, Beatles, Beach Boys, Van Cliburn, Traveling Wilburys, Dean Martin, movie soundtracks [especially Ennio Morricone}, Buck Owens, Stonewall Jackson, Th Ventures, Peter Paul & Mary, The Kingston Trio, Michael Buble, Tommy Dorsey, Otis Redding,...somebody stop me...I can go on and on.. (why) I just love good music! Sounds like you’re very busy, do you have any free time? My favorite way to spend my free time is to being with family, discovering new music I haven't heard, and searching my music archives for something I forgot I bought....it happens....and I love sharing music with friends - always interested in hearing what they love - and why....
Gina Monday - Friday | 3p - 7p
Get to know Gina… How long have you been in the Valley? 18 years. What brought you to the Valley? The weather! (Except for Summers!). Actually, the real reason I moved here (from Indianapolis) was my husband was transferred. Why do you love being a part of the Oasis? I love working at The Oasis because music is truly what makes people happy. If I can bring a part of myself, my love of The Valley and musical insight to others who enjoy the passion as much as I do, then I consider myself the luckiest person in the world with the best job in the world! Outside of the Oasis, what keeps you busy? My two teenage boys! More than I ever expected! But I love each crazy, fun-filled second with them and wouldn't trade being their fun, crazy mom for a second either. What else? I love reading, spending time with my friends, gluten-free, clean cooking, traveling and most definitely attending live shows and concerts as often as possible. Who is your all-time favorite artist? Michael Jackson is my all time favorite everything! He was game changer for me in my early years of broadcasting. He forever changed the way people listened thought and felt about music all across the board. He defined what it meant to have zero walls or barriers in the music world. He was his own category and there was no one more powerful with the ability to unite the world with music. So you’re telling us then, that you love the Oasis and the music so much you would almost do it for nothing? Yes. And I almost do. REQUEST YOUR FAVORITE YACHT ROCK SONG, CLICK HERE!

Lu Valentino Saturdays 2pm - 6pm
Lu WHO? How long have you lived in the Valley? This time? J Just returned recently from working radio in Denver. I’m originally from Northern New Jersey and lived in LA, but my favorite place is here, I’ve been in and out of Phoenix since 1998! What do you like about living here? To literally see it grow into this sexy metropolitan city! ‘Cause that’s what I’m used to. What do you do outside of radio…you must have a real life! My “brain-love” as a comedy writer and digital media director for 11 years. My “heart-love”, as a special advocate for the Child Abuse Task Force and a CASA (GAL). Since radio is in your blood, who is your favorite artist(s)? My all time favorite artist is P!nk and the Red Hot Chili Peppers! Both artists can burp for 3:35 seconds and I’d still listen to them! How do you spend your free time? My favorite ways are swimming, yoga, cooking, riding my mountain bike on rugged Valley trails, watching baseball and being near to my longtime Valley friends and extended family. But I really spend most of my free time loving on my two adopted Yorkies, LuVee and Cherish. Oh yeah, and making strangers laugh. Other favorites. Favorite actor: Tom Hanks, because he’s THAT good! Hollywood crush: Charlie Hunnam, because…well, he’s beautiful eye candy! Unknow tidbit about Lu. She’s an accomplished former gymnast and dance choreographer. NOW YOU KNOW WHO LU IS!
